The Belize Tourism Board has created an extensive “Tourism Gold Standard Recognition Program” as part of its phased reopening plan to enhance Tour Operators for the safety of travelers. These new protocols are focused on enhancing sanitation practices, social interactions, workplace policies, and standard operating procedures. Upside Down Tours is pleased to announce that we are Gold Standard Certified.

To ensure public’s safety, Upside Down Tours has put the following Covid-19 Protocols in place:  

• Guests are picked up from a Gold Standard Certified hotel/ resort
• Guest logs are kept and maintained
• Guest’s temperatures are taken and recorded on the guest log
• Each guest is required to wear a face mask
• Each guest is required to follow proper sanitizing procedures
• Social distancing is required and maintained
• We maintain a maximum of 12 people in each van (16 capacity)
• We wash and sanitize equipment after every use
